Clinical Therapy Services
It’s hard to be a human on earth. Let’s talk about it.
I am a Psychologist candidate in the state of Colorado, which means I have a Ph.D. in counseling psychology and I am working on my post doctorate hours, which are required by the state, in order for me to gain my Psychologist license. Part of my clinical practice involves engaging in supervision, ensuring that client’s are receiving the highest quality of care possible.
If you live in the state of Colorado, are experiencing mental health challenges, and are interested in teletherapy (meeting virtually), I can gladly offer a free “meet and greet.” This would be a 15 minute meeting where we can discuss your therapeutic needs, I can answer any of your questions, and overall we can see if we might be a good therapeutic fit.
I work virtually with adults, couples, and polycules who reside in Colorado.
We might be a good fit if:
- you are having mental health challenges
- you are ready to be an active participant in your mental health care
- you want to learn more about yourself
- you want to gain insight about how you see yourself, others, your community, and the world
- you want to grow as a person, a partner, a parent, a community member, etc
- you want to grow in your relationships
- you are curious about post traumatic growth
- you want to inquire about what healing might look like in your own life with the support of a therapist
- you want to grow in your romantic relationship with your partner(s)
Therapeutic Style
Our identities, culture, and values impact how we experience and interact with the world. Quality therapeutic care involves collaboration between client(s) and therapist throughout treatment. While I have the knowledge of therapeutic interventions, you are the expert on your lived experiences. Our task in therapy is to work together to individualize care based on your unique humanhood.
I utilize evidence based practices related to trauma survivorship, grief and loss, health challenges, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar I and II, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and more. I take an integrative trauma-informed therapeutic approach, drawing upon existential, DBT, CBT, relational cultural therapy, emotion-focused, ACT, expressive arts therapy, multicultural orientation and psychodynamic approaches to support us in achieving your treatment goals.
As a human, my core values are compassion and openness. I have the best job in the world, because I get to deeply know people I never would have met if not for my career. I have learned endless lessons from my clients’ wisdom. And there is so much left to learn!
After work, painting is my favorite way to process my experiences and the world without words. In my personal life I know deep peace in connection: with animals, family, friends, community, and the earth.
